Overall, we wouldn’t worry about the provider’s no-logging policy. Although it is not ideal that the provider logs IP addresses during sessions, we are reassured by the fact that this data is immediately deleted upon the termination of said sessions.

The headquarters of a VPN provider can dictate how much user data the company is required to provide to government agencies. BlufVPN is based in Estonia, meaning it follows European data privacy laws. As well as this, Estonia has implemented its own privacy regulations to protect residents’ data.

The privacy-friendly laws in the country extend to users of BlufVPN. While Estonia is by no means in the same league as, say, the British Virgin Islands or Panama when it comes to data privacy, it is better than a 5/9/14 Eyes country. BlufVPN has a decent-sized server network. The current number of servers on its network stands at 500 and is spread across 60 countries. Some of the countries BlufVPN operates in include the US, the UK, and South Korea.

There is not currently a dedicated help section on the website, with FAQs or guides on how to solve some of the problems that arise from using a VPN service. However, since you can always get in touch with a customer service representative, this isn’t too much of an issue.
