Speed is essential for a VPN. We all know how annoying it can be when we have to endure a slow internet connection. Although VPNs can often slow down connections, many don’t make a noticeable difference to your overall internet speed.

For this StrongVPN review, we ran a couple of speed tests to determine how fast the VPN was. However, we noticed that a few factors affected our connections’ speed. Firstly, the location of the server influence speeds. Depending on our distance from the server, we experienced slower download rates. For example, our base download speed of 29Mbps, decreased to 26Mbps when connected to a server in Japan.

Fortunately, the US servers’ speeds were good and didn’t differ much from surfing the web without a VPN. Overall, StrongVPN’s performance on the speed front was impressive. For a provider with a smaller than average server roster, it wasn’t noticeable at all when it came to the fast connection.

Does StrongVPN Unblock Netflix?

Yes, StrongVPN does unblock Netflix. We could access US Netflix with no issues and even managed to get through to several European Netflix libraries. Netflix isn’t the only streaming service that Strong works with, as it can also unblock Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+.

Thanks to StrongVPN’s long list of compatible operating systems, you can enjoy watching streaming site content on your computer, mobile phone, or Smart TV. While we were testing out the service on various streaming platforms, we enjoy good speed rates and an overall high-quality performance.

Alternatively, you can submit a ticket request for email support or even give the customer service team a call. Although it isn’t obvious on the provider’s website, there is a phone number that people can call from 9-5 CT, Monday-Friday.
